D.D. Lewis spent his entire professional career with the Dallas Cowboys after they drafted the former Bulldog in the sixth round of the 1968 NFL Draft.

Lewis started in 135 of the 186 games he played in and built up an incredible defensive resume.

While Lewis and the Cowboys won two Super Bowls (VI and XII), he had 8 interceptions for 97 yards and an amazing 14 fumble recoveries.

In the 1975 NFC Championship game, Lewis had two interceptions to push the Cowboys to a resounding 37-7 win over the LA Rams.

Lewis holds the record for a Dallas player to appear in the most playoff games with 27 apperances in the postseason.
