Were it not for a threatened revolt by big-time Texas A&M boosters in the offseason, Kentucky likely would have lost head coach Mark Stoops to the Aggies. Thus, it is fair to wonder how Stoops will be viewed by players, fans, and donors in Lexington moving forward. Will his pseudo affair with an in-conference rival quell the momentum that he had built over the past few seasons?

On the field, the Wildcats will have some nice pieces, especially on offense. However, the loss of star running back Ray Davis to the NFL leaves a huge hole to fill.

Georgia transfer Brock Vandagriff will be the key for the Cats this year. A former four-star recruit, he's attempted only 21 career passes in three years at the college level but he'll be the man for Kentucky.
