The Gamecocks are a mystery team right now in the SEC. However, there are quite a few holes to fill leaving many to think that they could struggle this fall.
The loss of WR Xavier Leggett to the NFL will be tough to overcome. So too will be the loss of Antwane Wells Jr., a 4-star WR transfer who went to Ole Miss.
This isn't an ideal year to break in a new QB starter in redshirt freshman LaNorris Sellers. That's another reason why the Gamecocks are near the bottom of our power rankings.
