2024 Elite Eight Game Times and TV Broadcasts
Here's how you can watch each of the 2024 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight games on Saturday and Sunday...
All times Central. Games also available for streaming through the NCAA March Madness Live app.
Saturday
3-seed Illinois (29-8) vs 1-seed UConn (34-3) - East Region, Boston
- 5:09 pm on TBS
- Spread: UConn -8.5
- Despite the largest point spread out of all the Elite Eight games, this might be the matchup college basketball fans are most excited for. These are two teams that can light up the scoreboard. Both teams are scoring more than 82 PPG and shooting nearly 50% over their last 10 games. Can Illinois' Terrance Shannon Jr. (23.5 PPG) carry the Illini to an upset over a UConn squad that's been bludgeoning its competition?
6-seed Clemson (24-11) vs 4-seed Alabama (24-11) - West Region, Los Angeles
- 7:49 pm on TBS
- Spread: Alabama -3.5
- I'm not sure many expected either of these teams to be here. Despite their incredible offense, Alabama's lackluster defense had few thinking they'd go deep in the tournament. And Clemson had looked awful entering the tournament. But here we are, as Bama has out-raced it's competition thus far and the Tigers have caught fire. Neither team has ever made a Final Four. Clemson beat Bama back in November and has kept some potent offenses in check during the tournament. Can they do that again, or will Bama's shooting be too much?
Sunday
2-seed Tennessee (27-8) vs 1-seed Purdue (32-4) - Midwest Region, Detroit
- 1:20 pm on CBS
- Spread: Purdue -3.5
- The only region to see it's top two teams advance was the Midwest, and that should create a thrilling regional final. Not only are these two great teams. This matchup features the two best players in the country. Purdue's 7'4" goliath Zach Edey is averaging 25 points and 12 rebounds per game. No one has an answer for him down low. Tennessee's Dalton Knecht has revitalized the Vol's offense with 21 PPG, shooting 39% from deep. Purdue's all-around offense is stronger, but the Vol's have the better defense. This should be a classic.
11-seed NC State (25-14) vs 4-seed Duke (27-8) - South Region, Dallas
- 4:05 pm on CBS
- Spread: Duke -6.5
- It doesn't get much better than having a Cinderella story facing off with one of it's biggest rivals with a trip to its first Final Four since 1983 on the line. NC State has been the best story of the tournament. The Wolfpack needed a miracle run in the ACC Tournament, where they were nearly eliminated in multiple games, to make the Big Dance, and now two weeks later they're in the Elite Eight. It's the perfect encapsulation of what makes March Madness special. Now they'll battle in-state rival and blue blood Duke to keep the magic going, who they beat in that ACC Tournament run. But the Blue Devils did just eliminate 1-seed Houston. Will they make the clock strike midnight on the Wolfpack?
