Sam Purcell and his Mississippi State basketball team are back on the road. This time, the Mississippi State women's basketball team is traveling from Starkville on up to Memphis to take on the Memphis Tigers in Elma Roane Fieldhouse

The Bulldogs and Tigers haven't faced each other in recent years. It's actually been 15 years since the two teams have met. And though Mississippi State has seen some ups and downs this year, the Bulldogs are currently in a much better spot than the Tigers are right now.

At 10-2, Purcell has the Mississippi State women's basketball team appearing to be pretty dangerous. Meanwhile, Memphis is sitting at just 4-6 as first year head coach Alex Simmons tries to get the Tigers moving in the right direction.

Purcell and the Bulldogs have hit the road and should theoretically be able to get a pretty solid victory here. There have been some less-than-perfect moments for this team, but most of those have had to do with depth and injury issues.

And still, against a struggling Memphis team, the Bulldogs should be able to get a statement win over the Tigers.

If you'd like to catch the game, you'll have a few options. The Mississippi State women's basketball game technically isn't on TV in the traditional sense, but thanks to the way media organizations and broadcasts work these days, it's basically the same.

Mississippi State and Memphis will meet up on ESPN+. If you have an ESPN+ subscription, you should be able to get the game without any issue. If you want to watch it on your TV, you'll need either a smart TV or a Google Chromecast or something equivalent.
