Jeff Lebby's first spring as head coach of Mississippi State football comes to an end on Saturday with the playing of the 2024 Maroon and White Spring Game. After spending the last few weeks installing both a new offense and new defense to a roster made up of plenty of new faces, MSU is ready to give Bulldog fans a glimpse of what's in store when the 2024 season kicks off Labor Day Weekend.

Thousands of Mississippi State fans will be flocking to Starkville for Super Bulldog Weekend and all the festivities that come with it, but of course plenty will be tuning-in for the spring game from home as they get themselves ready for the eventual football season.

The 2024 Maroon and White Spring Game will be broadcast exclusively through streaming on SEC Network+ on the ESPN app. It kicks off at 1:00 pm CT. Anyone with a cable subscription that carries the SEC Network will be able to stream the game through the ESPN app.

ESPN+ subscribers will also have the ability to watch Mississippi State's spring game on demand after it has been played.

The 2024 Maroon and White spring game will have a unique format

Jeff Lebby chose to take a non-traditional approach to his squad's spring game in his first season. Rather than splitting the roster into even teams, State will instead play "Offense vs Defense" for their spring game.

With the side of the ball that's usually working to prevent scoring acting on their own, State has put together a very interesting scoring structure to create a competitive game between the two sides of the ball. While different, this should be a great way to maximize reps for players as they continue to grow within new systems.
