Injury report for Mississippi State vs Texas
Mississippi State had a promising update on the initial SEC availability report ahead of their matchup with Texas. RB Fluff Bothwell was listed as "questionable" for Saturday's game. While unknown if he'll be ready to suit up, it's at least a good sign moving forward. The Bulldogs will be without LB Zakari Tillman for the first half because of a targeting ejection in the second half last week. Texas will be without a key starter on each side of the ball. Center Cole Huston and safety Michael Taaffe will both be out against the Bulldogs. Backup RB CJ Baxter is "probable."
Weather forecast for Starkville on Saturday
Saturday's forecast is still somewhat in question for Starkville, but at the moment it looks to mostly be an ideal day for football. Temperatures at kickoff will be in the mid-70s under partly cloudy skies. Cloud cover should increase throughout the game with temperatures cooling to the low-70s. There is a chance that some showers could develop in the region as the game is ending, but rain should largely hold off until the overnight hours, well after the game.
