Injury Report for Mississippi State vs Tennessee
The injury report is fairly quiet for Mississippi State. DE Will Whitson and RT Blake Steen are the only players listed as "Out" as of Wednesday evening, as each was announced as being out for the year a few weeks back. LB Derion Gullette is "Questionable" after missing last week's game with Northern Illinois. Safety Jahron Manning is not listed on the injury report after exiting action last Saturday.
More players received injury designations for the Volunteers. Tennessee will still be without their top two cornerbacks in Jermod McCoy and Rickey Gibson III, who have yet to play this season. DL Daevin Hobbs remains out. Backup WR Radarious Jackson and reserve RB Hunter Barnes are also out. Backup RB Duane Morris is "Questionable", as is 5-star freshman and starting RT David Sanders Jr., who has not played so far. Starting DT Jaxson Moi is "Probable" to make his return to action after being injured in the season-opener.
