The Mississippi State Bulldogs have a handful of injuries to contest with going into Saturday. After missing last week's action, the status of starting offensive guard Luke Work and starting cornerback Jett Jefferson is unclear, though there is some optimism for Work in particular. Starting tackle Blake Steen was injured in the first half of the season-opener and did not return. His status is also unclear. They are also waiting to see if backup defensive lineman Jamil Burroughs will be available after not traveling with the team last week.

Four Sun Devil starters are being monitored ahead of the matchup. Center Ben Coleman left ASU's season-opener, but is expected to be good to go against MSU. However, that status for right tackle Max Iheanachor, wide receiver Jalen Moss, and defensive lineman Justin Wodtly remains unknown at this point.
