The Bulldogs have had a lot of fun moments on Thanksgiving over the years. Here are some of the best...

4. "The Piss and the Miss" - Mississippi State wins the 2019 Egg Bowl 21-20

There are few games that live in College Football Internet lore more than the 2019 Egg Bowl, and it's entirely because of the ending. Down a TD, Ole Miss WR Elijah Moore scored with just four seconds left to make it a 21-20 game. The Rebels just needed an extra point to tie and send the game to overtime, or they could go for two and the win.

But following Moore's TD catch, he chose to celebrate by mimicking a dog peeing over the MSU endzone. Moore was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct, and that penalty put the point-after try from the 18. In no position to go for two, the Rebels lined up for a 35-yard extra point attempt to tie.

They missed, and Mississippi State won.

The incredible thing about this game is the long-term ramifications of Elijah Moore's "urination simulation." With the loss, Ole Miss fired Matt Luke, which allowed them to hire Lane Kiffin, a worthwhile trade to many Rebels. The win had seemingly saved the job of State's Joe Moorhead. But after behavioral issues with his team during bowl practices and a bad performance in the bowl game, Moorhead was fired, being replaced by Mike Leach. I'd say State fans are happy with that trade as well.
