Mississippi State basketball comes back from their off-week hoping to turn things around in the back-half of SEC play. The #22 Bulldogs (16-6, 4-5 SEC) begin this stretch on the road, traveling to Athens to face the SEC's other Bulldogs.

Georgia is looking for a breakthrough in their third season under Mike White. They're 16-7 with a 4-6 record in the SEC and are firmly on the NCAA Tournament bubble. Both State and UGA need a win here to build momentum into the final month of regular season action.

Here's how you can watch plus some notes on the matchup...

Game time and TV channel for Mississippi State basketball vs the Georgia Bulldogs

It will also be available for streaming through the ESPN app. If you don't have a TV or streaming provider, FuboTV has all the college basketball action you need and offers a free trial.

Mississippi State Bulldogs vs Georgia Bulldogs point spread

The oddsmakers in Vegas see this as an incredibly tight matchup. According to DraftKings Sportsbook as of Saturday morning, the Mississippi State Bulldogs are a 1.5 point underdog to Georgia. With two fairly evenly matched teams according to the metrics, it makes sense that home court is what would give UGA the edge. There's also a chance this game ends up just a bit lower-scoring, as the over/under is set for 142.

Injury report for Mississippi State Bulldogs vs Georgia Bulldogs

There's nothing of note on the injury report for this one. Georgia has all players available, and the only Mississippi State player out is point guard Kanye Clary, who was announced as out for the year a while back.

Mississippi State basketball vs Georgia Bulldogs score prediction

This should be a good one in Athens. Georgia plays well defensively and has been fantastic at home, and when State has seen good defenses on the road, they've struggled. But the good news for State is that Georgia has not been a good three-point shooting team and doesn't have much offensively outside of their post play. That's been a favorable matchup for State this year. I'll say that matchup plus the extra rest for State is enough for a needed road win.
