Is Brady Cook playing for Mizzou? Final injury report before Bulldogs vs Tigers
Mississippi State football (2-8, 0-6 SEC) hosts the #23 Missouri Tigers (7-3, 3-3 SEC) in Starkville Saturday afternoon at 3:15 PM CT. It's Senior Day for the Bulldogs, who will look to finally get a SEC win in their final home game and send out their seniors on a high note.
Here's the final injury report before State takes the field against the Tigers later today...
Missouri quarterback Brady Cook is good to go for the Tigers vs Mississippi State
As expected, Missouri will still have QB Brady Cook back on the field against Mississippi State. Cook suffered an injury a few weeks back against Alabama that took him out of that game and sidelined him when Mizzou faced Oklahoma. But he was back in action last week in the Tigers' loss to South Carolina. Obviously you'd expect Cook to be fine once again, but he was listed on the initial injury report earlier in the week. Cook is off that report now and is full-go for today's game.
As for Tigers on the injury report, Missouri will be without WR Mookie Cooper, DE Darris Smith, DE Joe Moore, QB Sam Horn, LB Khalil Jacobs, and OL Connor Tollison. All of those players had already previously been out or aren't impacts to the depth chart.
No new injuries to note for Mississippi State
For Mississippi State, there's fortunately nothing new to report in terms of injuries. Everyone out for the Bulldogs has been out for multiple weeks at this point and are, presumably, done for the season.
The players out are QB Blake Shapen, CB Traveon Wright, WR Creed Whittemore, WR Trent Hudson, DL Kedrick Bingley-Jones, RB Keyvone Lee, DL Kalvin Dinkins, and OL Canon Boone. Again, Mississippi State has been without the services of everyone listed for at least a few weeks, and for many of them, they've missed the majority of the season.
