Game time and TV channel for Mississippi State soccer vs Washington Huskies

Mississippi State is playing for a second-straight trip to the Sweet Sixteen

Bulldog soccer is looking to advance to the Sweet Sixteen for the second-straight season. Last year, Mississippi State made the third round for the first time in program history, where they would fall 1-0 to 2-seed Stanford in Palo Alto. This time, if the Bulldogs were to advance, their Sweet Sixteen match would be played in Starkville. But of course they have to get through the Huskies first.

Washington upset 8-seed Utah State in the first round

Washington has a proud women's soccer program. The Huskies are historically a regular tournament team. They're in the postseason for the first time since 2021 under fifth-year HC Nicole Van Dyke. The Huskies, 10-6-4 on the season, upset 8-seed Utah State last week on penalty kicks after both teams were scoreless through regulation and two overtime periods. Washington is a great defensive team, but they don't score much on their own.

Mississippi State Bulldogs vs Washington Huskies score prediction

After a goal explosion in the first round, this match will likely resemble many the Bulldogs played this season. With two good defenses, don't expect a ton of scoring. However, State is easily the better offensive team of the two (with a better defense), and with the game in Starkville, they'll get the win.
