Mississippi State football (4-4, 0-4 SEC) heads up the Fayetteville to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks (2-6, 0-4 SEC) Saturday afternoon.
Mississippi State is coming off a a crushing loss to Texas. The Bulldogs held a 17-point fourth quarter lead but allowed the Longhorns to come all the way back and win in overtime 45-38. It was Mississippi State's fourth-straight loss on the season and their 16th-straight SEC loss overall, the longest conference losing streak in the country.
Arkansas also just suffered a painful loss. After close, shootout defeats at the hands of Tennessee and Texas A&M, it was expected that the Razorbacks could take down a struggling Auburn team in Fayetteville last Saturday. They raced out to 21-10 lead, but the Tigers roared back, defeating the Hogs 33-24.
These are two teams that have been so close at earning league wins this season but have continually failed to get the job done. One of them has to win today. Who gets it done? Let's look at the final odds and give a score prediction.

Mississippi State Bulldogs vs Arkansas Razorbacks score prediction
There should be plenty of points in this game. Arkansas' offense has been strong, but their defense is truly horrific. Mississippi State has been more hit-or-miss offensively, but they should thrive against the Razorback defense. Their own defense is capable of playing well for stretches, but on the road against a good Hog offense, they'll likely surrender some points. Unless there's a hangover or "give up" effect for these squads after painful defeats a week ago, a shootout seems likely.
Though neither team has managed a conference win, Mississippi State in particular has been in position to earn multiple SEC wins and ultimately found ways to lose those games. Until the Bulldogs show they won't suffer a crushing loss, it's hard to predict them to get the job done. But this will go down to the wire.
Arkansas wins 38-37
