It looks like Zach Arnett and Kevin Barbay won’t have Will Rogers available at quarterback as the Bulldogs face the Texas A&M Aggies.

Mississippi State football’s chances of upsetting the Texas A&M Aggies took a huge hit as news broke that the Bulldogs will apparently once again have to try to win an SEC game despite missing quarterback Will Rogers.

It appears as if Rogers, who has been sidelined for several games now, will once again miss a Mississippi State football game as he is not healthy enough to play against the Texas A&M Aggies, according to a post by Brett McMurphy.

With Rogers sidelines once again, the Bulldogs will likely be severely shorthanded on offense once again. That sort of news isn’t exactly great for Arnett or MSU offensive coordinator Kevin Barbay.

Mississippi State football injury update: QB Will Rogers reportedly out as Bulldogs travel to face Texas A&M Aggies

With Rogers out for this game, the Bulldogs will need to try to figure out what the offense will look like.

And with Mike Wright having struggled in his last couple starts as he spelled Wright, it might just be time for Barbay and Arnett to allow Chris Parson to take the bulk of the snaps against the Aggies.

But regardless of which quarterback ends up starting for the Bulldogs, who knows how conservative the offense will actually be.

In previous games, we’ve seen possible evidence that Arnett was influencing the way in which the Bulldogs’ operated on that side of the ball. He’s admitted as much in that he’s discussed how he had the offense be less aggressive against Arizona in hopes of protecting his defense.

Barbay and Arnett each had different answers as to how aggressive the Bulldogs needed to be when it came to facing Alabama.

How aggressive will the offense be without Will Rogers and while in a must-win situation?
