The Mississippi State Bulldogs had no fun last week. Can the Mississippi State football team bounce back against the Kentucky Wildcats?

This isn’t how Zach Arnett and the Mississippi State Bulldogs wanted the 2023 Mississippi State football season to go, but unfortunately this is the way things have unfolded. Mississippi State is currently sitting at 4-4 overall and is just 1-4 in SEC play.

And the Bulldogs definitely need to get a win against the Kentucky Wildcats to get back on track and get one step closer to getting a bowl berth. A victory over Kentucky doesn’t secure that, but it does signify a huge step in the right direction as the Bulldogs get the month of November kicked off at home.

Last week’s trip to Auburn, Alabama was a mess. The week before that also featured an ugly game. In fact, much of this season has been pretty painful to watch. But, funny enough, there’s still a third of a regular season left.

Can Arnett find an unlikely way to get things turned around sooner rather than later? He needs to start winning now if that’s going to happen.
