As the Mississippi State football team gets set to face the Arkansas Razorbacks, they’re just shy of the worst spot in the SEC when it comes to FPI rankings.

Zach Arnett and the Mississippi State Bulldogs haven’t been having a great time this season. And they’re definitely not accomplishing what they likely hoped to accomplish. MSU has struggled to win and as a result they’re 3-3 on the season so far.

That’s not great.

And just as Arnett and the Mississippi State football team aren’t having fun through much of the season up to this point, Miss. State football fans also aren’t having much fun right now. And it’s not really a surprise when you start evaluating the Bulldogs based off where they’re ranked in ESPN’s FPI rankings.

In the SEC? Well, the Mississippi State football team is basically at the bottom when it comes to FPI rankings.

And that’s not great either.
