Saturday afternoon, Zach Arnett’s Mississippi State football team managed to get a win against the Western Michigan Broncos, but things weren’t perfect.

The Mississippi State football team got a much needed win on Saturday. The Bulldogs were able to win, by double digits, and take care of business at home against the Western Michigan Broncos.

The Bulldogs put up some points and made it clear that they were intent on moving the ball down the field, but even in a win, there were plenty of issues for Zach Arnett’s Mississippi State football team.

The Bulldogs were flawed and didn’t exactly play a complete game. Despite the fact that a MAC team was on its third string quarterback, the MSU Bulldogs had major issues against Western Michigan and the Bulldogs only beat the Broncos by 13 points.

And now the Bulldogs are moving into a bye week that is definitely also needed.

This Miss. State team has shown all season that there are noteworthy issues that need to be addressed.

Unfortunately for Mississippi State football fans, the Bulldogs had problems once again on Saturday afternoon. And unfortunately for the Bulldogs, MSU will return to SEC play once the bye week is wrapped up.

Mississippi State absolutely has to get a few things figured out before SEC play resumes. Otherwise, these issues will be magnified in major ways.
