Arkansas @ No. 16 Ole Miss (-11.5) (O/U 63.5)

Evan Ertel: This game always feels like it gets weird late, and there’s something about the physicality of Arkansas that makes me think Ole Miss is going to get caught in a game that they expected to run away with early. The game is going to be decided by who can run the ball better and I just don’t have that kind of faith in Arkansas, unfortunately. Ole Miss -11.5

Justin Strawn: I said last week I wasn’t picking Ole Miss again until Quinshon Judkins looked more like the player he was last year. He proceeded to do just that against LSU. Ole Miss -11.5

Ethan Lee: Ole Miss is fixed. Arkansas is flawed. The Rebels seem to have figured out how to run the ball effectively again and, unless they have some sort of letdown after last week, they’re going to really have fun this week. Ole Miss -11.5

John King: It didn’t take long for people to forget the egg that Ole Miss laid against Bama. Sure, Ole Miss looked great against LSU, but they also gave up a ton of points. I think that’s why the O/U is 63.5. I think Ole Miss used up their points last week and I don’t think Arkansas will have as much trouble versus this Rebel defense. This matchup between OM and Arkansas could be weird and exciting, but it could be lower-scoring than expected. I think Ole Miss wins, but Arkansas keeps it within the spread. Arkansas +11.5

Andrew Miller: is this game normally wild regardless of team quality? Yes. Do I think we get another crazy one? Maybe but not as much as we’re used to. The Arkansas defense is bad. They won’t stop Ole Miss. The Ole Miss defense is bad too. But they at least have guys up front who can disrupt a terrible Hogs OL. KJ Jefferson will be under duress the whole game. Ole Miss -11.5

Ryan Strickland: Ole Miss looked absolutely electric and unstoppable last week against LSU. Judkins had a great game which is what they’ve been needing all year. Arkansas looks just dreadful so far this year, especially on defense. Think Ole Miss takes the momentum off of last week and keeps it going against a very bad defense. They will roll through an Arkansas team that is probably about ready to quit. Ole Miss -11.5
