We’re almost halfway through the 2023 college football season. What does the Week 6 slate have in store? Here are three under the radar games to watch:

It’s seems crazy to think that we’re already about to reach the halfway point of the 2023 college football season. We’re not quite there yet, but after this weekend, many programs will have played six of their 12 regular season games.

As is always the case, the season is flying by fast.

Week 5 gave us plenty of excitement. Georgia made a comeback on the Plains to once again win the “Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry” and keep their hopes of another perfect season alive. Notre Dame and Duke slugged it out in the week’s highest profile game, with the Irish stunning the Blue Devils with an improbable final drive. And the Magnolia Bowl became the best game so far of the season as Ole Miss topped LSU in a wild 55-49 shootout.

Week 6 looks to provide us with more thrillers. The Red River Shootout (the only name for the rivalry I will recognize) between Texas an Oklahoma has major implications for both programs for the first time in a while. LSU and Missouri may very well resemble the game the purple-clad Tigers played this past weekend. And Alabama’s trip to College Station is setting up to be another down-to-the-wire affair.

And most importantly, this is the week that midweek CFB action returns. With the Conference USA embracing midweek games for October, we’re going to have either college or NFL football on TV every day from now until the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I’m watching Jacksonville State battle it out with MTSU as I type this. It’s magical.

As always, the headliners are not the only games worth tuning into. There are a handful of games that could be really fun to watch that won’t get much national buzz, and unlike last week, they’re actual quality matchups as opposed to bad teams playing dumb football (which is still fun).

With Week 6 already underway, here are three under the radar college football games to watch…
