Mississippi State football: 3 burning questions after Bulldogs’ loss vs. Alabama

Zach Arnett and the Mississippi State football team had a hard time handling the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday.
Another week of Mississippi State football taking on a dual threat quarterback and a talented offense and another week of Mississippi State football fans being frustrated with the state of the Miss. State Bulldogs.
On Saturday night, in an SEC West showdown, the Mississippi State Bulldogs came up way short of competing with the Alabama Crimson Tide for a full game and MSU lost big. The Bulldogs were outmatched seemingly everywhere and could not keep up with the Crimson Tide’s talented offense.
Unfortunately for the over 60,000 folks in Starkville, Alabama slowly snuffed out every hope that the Bulldogs had of competing and won in a 40-17 rout of MSU.
Three questions after Mississippi State football fell to the Alabama Crimson Tide
It’s not a shocker that the Bulldogs lost this game. It’s not even surprising that this game got out of hand due to poor mistakes and bad plays.
Alabama is really talented. Mississippi State is less talented. Alabama has one of the greatest coaches of all time. MSU is being led by a first time head coach with a young coaching staff. These things happen.
But still, this sort of loss raises questions. And I have a number of questions, but let’s focus on a manageable amount of questions.
So, here are three questions that I have following Miss. State’s loss to the Crimson Tide:
