Zach Arnett and his Mississippi State football team are getting set to welcome Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide to Starkville. Here’s how to watch MSU vs. Alabama.
On Saturday, the Mississippi State Bulldogs will host Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide in Davis Wade Stadium. This Mississippi State football game could be an intriguing matchup, or maybe it’s an absolute mess. It’s hard to tell.
The Bulldogs enter into the contest with a 2-2 record overall and Mississippi State is now 0-2 against SEC competition. MSU fell flat against the LSU Tigers and then came up short in an back-and-forth matchup with the South Carolina Gamecocks where the Bulldogs finally got their offense going in the right direction.
Meanwhile, Alabama is 3-1 overall after a loss to the Texas Longhorns, but the Crimson Tide handled Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels with a resounding 24-10 victory in Tuscaloosa.
Mississippi State’s inconsistent offense will have the absolute pleasure of facing off against an Alabama defense that is stout and difficult to score on. Meanwhile, MSU’s struggling defense will get to meet up with an Alabama offense that isn’t exactly all that explosive right now.
