What’s realistic for the Mississippi State Bulldogs?

After last week, I’m afraid to say anything here. I’ll just be honest, my “realistic expectations” this week are filled with more hope than usual.

hope we can find enough offense to keep up with South Carolina. I hope our defense can force Spencer Rattler into errors and interceptions. I hope we can win and keep our bowl aspirations alive.

The truth is, if we get blown out against the Gamecocks, its hard to see how our schedule could play out to 6 wins. If we keep it close, I might be able to convince myself we can get there.

A win would go a long way in building confidence for the rest of the season.

What do I think?

I think we win. We have too many veteran players that won’t take the loss last week lightly. Everyone from walk-ons to coaches knows what this game means in setting the tone for the rest of the season. I expect the Bulldogs to bounce back against South Carolina.
