The Mississippi State Bulldogs are looking to improve to 3-1 and show that their early season struggles won’t derail this year as they face the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Last week stunk. Just an absolutely horrible Mississippi State football game to watch. But now Zach Arnett and his MSU Bulldogs have a pretty good opportunity to right some wrongs and get a road win over an SEC foe.

That’s because the Mississippi State football team is on the road and facing a South Carolina Gamecocks team that really hasn’t looked all that brilliant to start the season.

Arnett and State come into this game with a 2-1 overall record and are 0-1 in SEC play. Meanwhile, the Gamecocks are sitting at 1-2 overall and are also 0-1 against SEC teams this season.

This is a big game for both programs. Neither really can afford to take a loss as they have bowl hopes and both have shown some rather significant weaknesses at times. So, who will come out on top?
