M&WN Staff – Week 3 SEC Picks and Best Bets
By Evan Ertel
Arkansas @ No. 12 LSU (LSU -17.5, O/U 55.5)
Evan: I think the road is paved pretty well for LSU to win the West, and the Hogs are just the next speed bump on that road. Obviously, State didn’t put up much of a fight last week, and I don’t mean to project here, but I certainly don’t think Arkansas will do any better job than the Bulldogs did. LSU -17.5
Ryan: Arkansas is walking into Baton Rouge playing a team that possibly just had their Get-Right game against State last week. Arkansas has issues almost everywhere outside of KJ Jefferson and I just do not believe they have the firepower to keep up with a likely rejuvenated LSU team at home. LSU – 17.5
Ethan: LSU wins, but they absolutely scored all of their points against MSU last week; It’s science. Arkansas +17.5
Justin: No one thought Sam Pittman would be a good coach. Arkansas has finally decided to play like the bad coach we thought he would be. LSU – 17.5
Andrew: – Arkansas’ OL looked terrible against BYU, and that doesn’t inspire confidence versus LSU. Their offense looks really good to this point. LSU -17.5
