A couple more frustrating Mississippi State football stats vs. the LSU Tigers

No. 2: 329 yards

The Mississippi State Bulldogs were steamrolled in just about every aspect of this game. But with the Tigers gaining more than double wha the Bulldogs did in total yardage, that’s something that should be a major red flag for Mississippi State football fans.

While some will say that this is just a ranked opponent, it’s important to remember that this game should not have been quite this lopsided. The Bulldogs being outgained by a total of 530 yards to 201 yards?

That’s pretty concerning.

No. 1: LSU’s seven scoring drives

The LSU Tigers were able to march up and down the field while the Mississippi State Bulldogs weren’t able to do much. And you remember how we talked about how the Tigers kept converting their third down attempts and keep their drives alive?

Well…

LSU had six scoring drives and each one of those drives went for over 60 yards and another that went for over 50 yards. That’s just insane. LSU’s offense was efficient. And it provided problems for Matt Brock and the MSU Bulldogs.
