The Mississippi State football team is seeking a win over the LSU Tigers. Can the Bulldogs remain unbeaten by taking care of the Tigers?

Zach Arnett and his Mississippi State Bulldogs will have their unblemished 2-0 record examined rather thoroughly as the Mississippi State football team hosts the No. 14 LSU Tigers. Facing off against the defending SEC West champs is a great way of determining just how good your team is.

And that’s exactly what Arnett and company are going to do this week. Mississippi State sits at 2-0 after taking care of business against the Southeastern Louisiana Lions and then escaping an overtime game against the Arizona Wildcats.

It’s safe to say that LSU is going to provide a much tougher test than either the Lions of the Wildcats could.

There’s a lot of talent on LSU’s roster and the Bulldogs, historically, don’t have much success against the folks from Baton Rouge. And here’s to hoping that this Mississippi State football game isn’t like the many losses that MSU has suffered against the Tigers over the years.
