Mississippi State football fans simmering after shocking win vs. Arizona
By Ethan Lee
After the Mississippi State Bulldogs beat the Arizona Wildcats in overtime, many Mississippi State football fans are less than thrilled.
Zach Arnett and the Mississippi State football team got a frustrating 31-24 overtime win over the Arizona Wildcats Saturday evening. The game was infuriating all throughout and it was hard to watch because of various decisions made by Arnett and the MSU coaching staff.
And those decisions, unsurprisingly, made Mississippi State football fans unhappy!
Thanks to the internet, we can see what folks are thinking whenever they want. And despite the fact that Mississippi State was able to prevail in overtime (thanks in part to impressive performances from Woody Marks, Bookie Watson, Jett Johnson, and others), a lot of folks aren’t that impressed right now.
In fact, some Miss. State football fans are already over Kevin Barbay because of the way the offense played out on Saturday.

Yeah, that’s a worthwhile question to ask because that’s a very odd choice to make. Rogers is one of the most accomplished passers in the Southeastern Conference’s long history. Why make this team one dimensional and not trust him to throw any sort of pass ever?

You’re not alone in having at least one heart attack.
Not at all! And it seems like the coaches aren’t happy right now, so that’s something.
As things stand right now, I’m not at all excited about what the rest of the season holds.
Mississippi State came out on top. The Bulldogs turned to Marks frequently. And MSU did win. But because the offense was so… bland and reliant upon just one player, things weren’t exactly all that great for MSU.
Miss. State only gained 307 total yards of offense in a game that involved overtime. Here’s to hoping that Barbay and Arnett are able to get things turned around in a hurry.
LSU comes to town next week.
