Week 1 of the 2023 college football season is here! What are some under the radar games to watch as the season kicks off?

We made it. We finally made it. College football is officially back.

Over the weekend, we got a taste of what the 2023 season has to offer with the Week 0 slate. Sam Hartman impressed in his Notre Dame debut as the Irish obliterated Navy in Ireland. UTEP completely blundered an end of game situation to lose to Jacksonville State.

Vanderbilt played an exciting game with Hawaii. And breaking news, a Lincoln Riley coached team still cannot play defense. We even saw former Mississippi State QB Jalen Mayden unintentionally and hilariously assault a referee.

Now the real action begins with a loaded Labor Day Weekend slate. Florida travels to Utah on Thursday night. The Coach Prime era for Colorado kicks on against reigning national runners-up TCU on “Big Noon Saturday”. Sunday night we get a top-10 matchup between LSU and Florida State. And of course we’re all anxiously waiting to see what Mississippi State will look like under Zach Arnett.

But what about some games that aren’t getting much national attention? Every week there are several under the radar matchups that end up being more entertaining games than those that get all the hype.
