The Mississippi State Football team will take on another exciting season this fall.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs have a first-year head coach in Zach Arnett after the sudden passing of Mike Leach.
Many Bulldog fans believe Zach Arnett can continue Mike Leach’s momentum and get the job done for the Bulldogs in year one as the head coach.
How can Zach Arnett pick up where Mike Leach left off? Well, winning solves everything right? I know it solves most problems.
Let’s take a deeper look at game two as Mississippi State faces off against the Arizona Wildcats.

Despite the losing record, the Wildcats had somewhat of an exciting season.
The most exciting part of their 2022 football season was undoubtedly upsetting the UCLA Bruins, 34-28.
The win over the Bruins came later in the season on November 12th. The Bruins were ranked No. 9 in last year’s college football playoff poll.
The Wildcats ended on a high note last year by defeating their in-state rival, the Arizona State Sundevils, 38-35.
Arizona will kick off their 2023 college football season at home vs. the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.
Let’s take a look at some of the stats from last year’s game between Mississippi State Football and the Arizona Wildcats.
The Bulldogs won last year’s matchup by a score of 39-17 (with two missed extra points).
One of the more standout statistics of last year’s game was Mississippi State had seven runs for more than 10 yards.
Will Rogers finished last year’s game vs. Arizona with 313 yards passing.
Going on the road last year was seen as a scary game for the Bulldogs, but I like Mississippi State’s chances to win big and comfortably on September 9th, 2023.
