Mississippi State Baseball vs. South Carolina (Game 2): Start time, TV info, and more

The Mississippi State baseball team is back at home to take on the South Carolina baseball team in Game Two of a home series.
Mississippi State baseball will play three games this weekend versus the Gamecocks. Game 1 was won by the Gamecocks by a score of 6-4.
Game Two will have its first pitch at 6:00 p.m. CT/7:00 p.m. ET on Friday night.
The Diamond Dawgs look to bounce back after last night’s tough loss.
The matchup between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the South Carolina Gamecocks will be played at Dudy Noble Field in Starkville, Mississippi.

Mississippi State Baseball needs to hit the reset button after last night.
The Diamond Dawgs are coming off a heartbreaking loss in Game One vs. the Gamecocks.
After some debatable calls at the plate and a two-run homer in the 7th, the Dawgs couldn’t pull off the upset.
It’s time to hit the reset button and forget about last night’s game.
Mississippi State baseball is working to bounce back after last year’s season and the start of conference play this season.
Last year, the Mississippi State baseball team had one of the worst seasons in recent history. What made it even worse was the Diamond Dawgs were coming off winning a national championship the year before in 2021 when they defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores.
The good thing is it would be hard for the Diamond Dawgs to have a worse year than they did last year. The Mississippi State baseball looks to turn things around starting tonight.
Although, SEC play has started off to a pretty rough start. The Bulldogs need to find a win … at least one from the Gamecocks.
Chris Lemonis needs to start making a statement soon.
Chris Lemonis is the only Mississippi State coach to ever win a national title at the university. His winning mindset should put the Diamond Dawgs right back in the conversation.
One thing the Bulldogs need to fix this weekend is pitching. The batts have seemed to stay hot for every game this season.
Coach Lemonis might be looking at a hot seat if things don’t turn around soon.
