After the tragic passing of Mississippi State’s head coach, Mike Leach, Zach Arnett was given the reigns to lead this year’s Mississippi State Football team.

Zach Arnett has brought an energy to this football team that excites many fans, including myself. I look forward to seeing the intensity that Arnett will bring to the sidelines this upcoming college football season.

In more recent news, the Mississippi State Bulldogs began Spring Practice last week, and Zach Arnett always seems to think there is room to improve.

Like every college football team, the Bulldogs have their spring football game coming up soon. The annual Maroon and White Spring Football Game will be played on Saturday, April 15th.

That weekend is known as Super Bulldog Weekend with lots of festivities happening around Starkville, Mississippi. It’s a great time to bring the family up to Starkville for a fun-filled weekend!

The Mississippi State baseball team will also play Ole Miss in a series at Dudy Noble Field that same weekend.

Regarding the football team, if the Bulldogs were to win more than 9 games next season, that would put the Bulldogs in contention for the SEC West.

Mississippi State Football has some high expectations for next season, and those who have season tickets are probably getting ready to renew.
