The Mississippi State basketball team is 21-12 entering the NCAA Tournament.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs are 22-11 entering tonight’s NCAA Tournament matchup vs. the Pittsburgh Panthers. The Bulldogs finished non-conference play this season with only one loss. Mississippi State’s twelve losses are against the Drake Bulldogs, the Alabama Crimson Tide (three times), the Tennessee Volunteers (two times), the Georgia Bulldogs, the Auburn Tigers, the Florida Gators, the Kentucky Wildcats, the Missouri Tigers, and the Vanderbilt Commodores.
The Pittsburg Panthers are 22-11 entering the NCAA Tournament.
The Pittsburg Panthers finished the 2022-2023 college basketball regular season with a 22-11 overall record and 14-6 in the ACC. The Panthers finished fifth in their conference this season. The ACC seems to be a bit down from years past, but the Panthers took advantage of that and found their way into the NCAA Tournament.

Prediction: The Mississippi State Bulldogs have not been in the NCAA Tournament since 2019, but first-year head coach, Chris Jans, had other plans for the 2022-2023 Mississippi State basketball team. The grit that this team plays with is what I am basing my prediction on. Give me the Bulldogs in tonight’s NCAA Tournament matchup, 68-60.
