The Mississippi State baseball team is back at Dudy Noble Field to take on the University of Louisiana Monroe Warhawks in a midweek baseball matchup. Today’s baseball game will have its first pitch at 4:00 p.m. CT/5:00 p.m. ET. The Diamon Dawgs look to continue their momentum after winning their first series of the season vs. the VMI Keydets. The matchup between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the ULM Warhawks will be played at Dudy Noble Field in Starkville, Mississippi.

The Mississippi State baseball team looks to win its third game of the 2023 college baseball season today vs. the University of Louisiana Monroe Warhawks. The Diamond Dawgs showed spurts of excitement, especially from their batts, in the first series of the year.

Chris Lemonis is the first and only coach at Mississippi State University to win a national title, and he does not plan to stop with just one trophy. He believes this team is stacked full of talent, and they can make their way back to Omaha and bring the Bulldog faithful another trophy.

The ULM Warhawks won their first series of the year after taking 2 of 3 from Bradley. The Warhawks will have their work cut out for them as they head to Starkville, Mississippi to play at one of college baseball’s greatest stadiums, Dudy Noble Field.

This past weekend, there were so many names that I had not heard called until this year. This team has the potential to really grow. Again, you cannot base everything on the first series of the season, but there sure were a lot of young guys, and they all seemed to be very talented. Chris Lemonis has done his job recruiting these guys and getting them to come to play at Dudy Noble. Now, we are about to see the product of what Lemonis has worked at for three years.
