The Mississippi State Bulldogs came up short in a closer game than the score showed vs. the Tennessee Volunteers.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs faced off against the Tennessee Volunteers on Tuesday night at the Humphrey Coliseum. The Bulldogs led for most of the first half, but could not hold onto to their lead in the second half. The Bulldogs lost by a score of 70-59.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs basketball team cannot seem to score more than 60 points against better SEC opponents. The Bulldogs have now lost their last 6 of 7 basketball games.
Dak Prescott looks ahead to the San Francisco 49ers
Former Mississippi State Bulldogs legend, Dak Prescott, had one of the best games of his career on Monday night vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Prescott finished the wild card game 25/33 for 305 yards passing. He also ran in a touchdown resulting in five total touchdowns for Dak Prescott.
The Dallas Cowboys had not ever beaten Tom Brady in his entire NFL career, but Monday night was different. Credit to the Dallas Cowboys defense for shutting down any offense the Tampa Bay Buccaneers tried to produce. The defense finished with 1 interception, 2 sacks, and 5 punts on the night.
The former legend looks ahead to Sunday night’s opponent, the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers could very well be the best team in the NFL playoffs, but Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys look to pull off the upset in San Francisco.

At the very beginning of Tuesday night’s SEC basketball matchup, Tennesee basketball player, Josiah-Jordan James nearly trampled the Mississippi State Bulldogs mascot, Bully.
The Tennessee basketball player was immediately greeted with several boos and choice words after running to Mississippi State Bulldogs mascot, Bully.
