The Mississippi State basketball team is back at home to take on SEC foe, the Tennessee Volunteers. Today’s basketball game will tip off at 6:00 p.m. CT/7:00 p.m. ET. The Bulldogs look to get back on track tonight and pull off an upset. The matchup between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Tennessee Volunteers will be played at the Humphrey Coliseum in Starkville, Mississippi.

Mississippi State basketball could really use an upset tonight.
The Mississippi State basketball team has had one of its best starts in school history, but the Bulldogs lost their first two SEC matchups vs. the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Tennessee Volunteers. They then hosted the Ole Miss Rebels and found their first SEC win of the season. Not long after they found themselves back in the loss column whenever the Bulldogs traveled to Georgia. Mississippi State is now on a two-game losing streak after being defeated by the Auburn Tigers.
The Mississippi State basketball team is 12-5.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs are 12-5 entering today’s SEC basketball matchup. The Bulldogs finished non-conference play with only one loss on the season. Mississippi State’s five losses are against the Drake Bulldogs, the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Tennessee Volunteers, the Georgia Bulldogs, and the Auburn Tigers.
The Tennessee Volunteers are 14-3.
The Tennessee Volunteers are coming off a 7-point loss to the Kentucky Wildcats. The Volunteers have only lost to Colorado, Arizona, and Kentucky.
