The Mississippi State basketball team is back on the road to take on the Drake Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. CT/5:00 p.m. ET. After coming back home and playing a hard-fought game vs. the Nicholls State Colonels, the Mississippi State Bulldogs are headed to Lincoln, Nebraska. The matchup between the Bulldogs and the Bulldogs will be played at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Here are some notes that you need to know before watching today’s game:

The 2022-2023 Mississippi State basketball team is looking for their 12th win.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are 11-0 and ranked No. 15 in the Associated Press College Basketball Top 25 poll. Today, the Mississippi State basketball team has a chance to close non-conference play out with a bang by going undefeated.

Drake could be one of the most difficult tasks the Bulldogs have faced this 2022-2023 season.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs had not allowed a single team to score more than 59 points until last week vs. the Nicholls State Colonels when they scored 66 points. In the first three games of the 2022-2023 season, the Drake Bulldogs put 80 points on the board. The Mississippi State Bulldogs must play smart offensive today, and turnovers need to be caused.

This is the last game before SEC play starts.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs will start SEC play vs. the Alabama Crimson Tide on December 28th. SEC play will not be easy as they tip things off with No. 4 Alabama and No. 6 Tennessee.
