Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. ETSU: Start time, live stream, TV info and more
By Landon Young
The Mississippi State Bulldogs take on the East Tennessee State University Buccaneers Saturday at 11:00 a.m. CT/12:00 p.m. ET. The Mississippi State football team is back at home another week after facing the Georgia Bulldogs last week. The matchup between the Bulldogs and the Buccaneers will be played at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi.
Here are some notes that you need to know before watching Saturday’s game:
This will be the 2nd meeting between the Bulldogs and the Buccaneers.
1998 was the last time the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the East Tennessee State University Buccaneers faced off. I know today’s game can’t be quite as good as the year 1998, but maybe the Bulldogs will put up 50+ points as they did back then.
Today’s game is preparation for Thanksgiving night.
Everyone in the state of Mississippi is looking at next Thursday night. Ole Miss looks like the obvious favorite right now, but stranger things have happened on Thanksgiving night.
8-4 is certainly reachable.
The Bulldogs can achieve 8-4 with wins vs. East Tennesee State and Ole Miss. It is possible and if it happens, the expectations for Mike Leach’s fourth year at Mississippi State will be high.
Score as many points as you can today, Mike Leach.
Offensive momentum is what’s important when looking at Thanksgiving. Today, the Bulldogs have a chance to get their offense back on track by putting up loads of points.
