Mississippi State Football: 3 keys to victory vs. Alabama

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are headed to their second straight SEC road matchup to face off against the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Mississippi State football team is now 5-2 (2-2). Last week, the Bulldogs suffered another SEC loss when Kentucky handled Mississippi State, 27-17. Now, their attention turns toward the Crimson Tide.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs are in Tuscaloosa, Alabama this Saturday night. The Mississippi State football team will be hosted by the Alabama Crimson Tide this Saturday at 6:00 p.m. CT. Mississippi State is currently a 21.0-point underdog according to Fanduel.com. Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
This will be the 107th matchup between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Crimson Tide currently leads this series 85-8-3. The last time Mississippi State football scored a touchdown in Tuscaloosa was Dan Mullen and Dak Prescott’s No. 1 team in the nation.
Last year, the Bulldogs were not competitive vs. the Crimson Tide. Will Rogers finished last year’s game vs. Alabama with three interceptions. Alabama head coach, Nick Saban, has seemed to have figured out ways to shut down the air raid attack that Mississippi State’s offense brings to the field. Last year, the Bulldogs lost by a score of 49-9 with 0 touchdowns and 3 field goals. Mike Leach and the Mississippi State football team look to make the game competitive with the Tide this Saturday.
