Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. Kentucky Wildcats: Start time, live stream, TV info and more
By Landon Young
The Mississippi State Bulldogs take on the Kentucky Wildcats tonight at 6:30 p.m. CT/7:30 p.m. ET. The Mississippi State football team is back on the road headed to Lexington, Kentucky. The matchup between the Bulldogs and the Wildcats will be played at Kroger Field in Lexington, Kentucky.
Here are some notes that you need to know before watching today’s game:
Kentucky is 1-2 in SEC play.
The Kentucky Wildcats lost their first SEC matchup to the Ole Miss Rebels. That was a loss that many anticipated the Wildcats to lose, but the following week surprised some folks. The Wildcats’ second SEC loss came last week vs. the South Carolina Gamecocks. Kentucky is desperate for an SEC win today.
Will Rogers is looking to break Dak Prescott’s career passing touchdown record.
Will Rogers has thrown 69 passing touchdowns, and the Mississippi State career passing touchdown record is held by Dak Prescott with 70 passing touchdowns. Rogers looks to hold the No. 1 spot after today’s game vs. the Wildcats.
Mike Leach is 1-1 vs. the Wildcats.
The home team has won this matchup since 2014. Mike Leach visited Lexington in 2020 with Mississippi State and it didn’t go so well when the Bulldogs put 0 offensive scores on the board. Last year, Mike Leach coached one of the best games in his Mississippi State tenure vs. the Wildcats.
You might be asking yourself, “How can I watch today’s Mississippi State game?” I have great news. Every week, there will be an article solely dedicated to giving you the links to the Mississippi State game of the week.
