The Mississippi State Bulldogs are back at Davis Wade Stadium this weekend to face off against the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Mississippi State football team found their first SEC win of the season last week vs. the Texas A&M Aggies. The Bulldogs defeated the Aggies 42-24. Now, their attention turns toward the Razorbacks.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are back home this Saturday morning. The Mississippi State football team hosts the Arkansas Razorbacks this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. CT. Mississippi State is currently a -9.5 point favorite according to Fanduel.com. Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.

This will be the 32nd meeting between the Bulldogs and the Razorbacks. Last year, when the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Arkansas Razorbacks faced off, the Bulldogs came up short, 31-28, in Fayetteville. This year’s game will be played at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi.

The Arkansas Razorbacks are 3-2 with losses against the Texas A&M Aggies and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Last week, the Razorbacks hung in there with the Alabama Crimson Tide and actually took a lead heading into the fourth quarter. The Razorbacks fell short, 49-26. The Razorbacks defeated the Cincinnati Bearcats in the first week of the college football season. The Razorbacks have not seemed to be able to put all their weapons together for a complete game this season. That being said, the Razorbacks may be without one of the greatest offensive weapons on Saturday. KJ Jefferson left the Alabama game with a head injury and has not practiced this week.

Mississippi State football needs to carry the big SEC win momentum into Saturday’s game and find their solidify its second SEC win of the season vs. the Razorbacks. In this week’s episode of ‘Cowbell Off Campus,’ Landon Young and Addison Thigpen discuss what Mississippi State has to do to leave Saturday’s game with a victory.
