The Mississippi State football team broke into the AP and Coaches Top 25 Poll for the first time in the 2022 season after dominating the Texas A&M Aggies on October 1st. The Bulldogs are now ranked No. 23 in both the Coaches and AP polls.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs deserved a spot in the Top 25 after a convincing win vs. the Texas A&M Aggies, 45-24. The Bulldogs are now 4-1 with one loss to the LSU Tigers. The four wins that the Bulldogs have on their resume are Memphis, Arizona, Bowling Green, and Texas A&M. The win over the Aggies is obviously the best win of the 2022 Mississippi State football season.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs look to keep their win streak alive next week vs. the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Razorbacks are No. 25 in the Coaches Top 25 Poll but are not ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll.

SEC Network’s college football preview show, SEC Nation announced Sunday morning that they would be headed to Starkville, Mississippi to cover the Bulldogs vs. the Razorbacks. This game will be played at Davis Wade Stadium and will begin at 11:00 a.m. CT/12:00 p.m. ET on October 8th.

The Arkansas Razorbacks are coming off a loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide, 49-26. The Arkansas Razorbacks are now 3-2 on the season with wins over Cincinnati, South Carolina, and Missouri State. The Razorbacks have now lost to two SEC West foes in Alabama and Texas A&M. The Texas A&M loss looks the worse on the Razorbacks’ schedule after the Aggies went to Starkville and were dominated up and down the field.

Next week will be a big SEC West matchup between the Bulldogs and the Razorbacks. Davis Wade Stadium needs to be rocking for an 11:00 a.m. CT game. Although it is an early game, the Bulldogs’ crowd needs to fill up the stadium and be loud on Saturday, October 8th.
