The Mississippi State Bulldogs are headed to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to take on the LSU Tigers. Tonight’s game will begin at 5:00 p.m. CT. The matchup between the Bulldogs and the Tigers will be played at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Here are some notes that you need to know before watching tonight’s game:

Night Game in Death Valley – 5:00 p.m. kickoff

This does not favor the Mississippi State Bulldogs. LSU Tiger fans are used to tailgating all morning and late into the evening. This could be a huge factor if LSU takes off to an early lead. Mississippi State needs to go down the field and put six on the board early to silence the crowd.

LSU is 1-1 on the season with a loss to Florida State and a win over Southern.

Last week, the LSU Tigers put up 65 points on a really poor Southern team, but the first week of college football looked a lot different for the Tigers. The Tigers lost to the Seminoles, 24-23 due to a missed extra point to send the game to OT. This year’s LSU football team did not look as great as many anticipated during that first game of the season. Mississippi State looks to capitalize on those mistakes tonight.

Mississippi State won a nice road test vs. Arizona last week.

The 2022 Mississippi State football team went on the road to Tucson, Arizona and won. This looked like a game on the Bulldogs’ schedule that could have turned into an upset. This year’s team looked much more calm and did a great job readjusting during the game.
