Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. LSU Tigers: Prediction and Odds for Week 3 College Football

My father played a large role in my addiction to college football and the Mississippi State Bulldogs. I have grown up watching, listening, and traveling to SEC games all over the country with him. One of the conversations we tend to always have before the weekend is the betting lines. Now hear me out… We don’t actually place any bets, but we do seem to know how the games will end up. Every week, my dad and I will call each other to pick the SEC lines of the week.
Before the day kicks off at 11:00 a.m. CT, be sure to check out our picks. I am not saying that we’re always correct, but I am saying that we are usually close. We typically pick the Mississippi State Bulldogs no matter who they are playing so you might not want to use our advice in that game. The lines that we base our picks off of are found at FanDuel.com.
Georgia (-24.5) @ South Carolina
Dad: UGA does NOT cover.
Landon: Hmm… I don’t know. I like the Bulldogs to cover this weekend.
Ole Miss (-16.5) @ Georgia Tech
Dad: I’ll take Georgia Tech to cover. I think Ole Miss wins by a couple of touchdowns but not 16.
Landon: I’m GA Tech to cover in a really close football game.
Penn State (-3.5) @ Auburn
Dad: Penn State, but I have a feeling Auburn plays well.
Landon: Yeah, I’ll take the Nittany Lions.
Vanderbilt @ Northern Illinois (-2.5)
Dad: I’m picking Vandy to go on the road and win.
Landon: Vandy is still Vandy. I’ll take NIU.
Louisiana Monroe @ Alabama (-49.5)
Dad: Of course, Bama gets a line of 49.5… Bama covers.
Landon: I picked Bama last week, and it did not work. I’m picking Bama again lol.
Akron @ Tennessee (-47.5)
Dad: Give me Tennessee since Joe Moorhead didn’t look so hot last week.
Landon: I’m picking Tennessee here.
South Florida @ Florida (-24.5)
Dad: I think Billy Napier brings it back together this week. I’ll take Florida.
Landon: Same. Give me the Gators.
Miami @ Texas A&M (-6.5)
Dad: I have a weird feeling that A&M is going to bounce back. Give me the Aggies.
Landon: I don’t know why, but I’m picking A&M.
Mississippi State Bulldogs (-2.5) @ LSU Tigers
Dad: Basically a pick-em game and I’ll take Mississippi State, 28-24.
Landon: Give me the Bulldogs, 32-24.
