There were few things as fun as watching Fred Ross work his magic on the field as a Bulldog. Always within the top 10 statistical leaders in the conference, Ross had a way of making his impact felt when it counted most.

Ross was a surprise for Mississippi State fans, flipping from Oklahoma State on the eve of National Signing Day, and he made the most of that decision.

The Tyler, Tx. native finished his career at Mississippi State the all-time leader in receiving yards (2,528), receptions (199), and single-season receptions (88). He’s also second in all-time receiving TDs (22) and had 10 catches or more in five different games, more than any player in Mississippi State history.

Ross surprisingly went undrafted in 2017 but was signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent. Unfortunately, ankle and hip injuries cut his NFL career short.
