The Mississippi State football team will be playing in the CBS SEC Game of the Week when they take on the Alabama Crimson Tide on November 10th.

The Mississippi State football team is seeing one of its stranger streaks come to an end when they take on Alabama in two weeks. The Bulldogs had played all but one game in the 2018 season at night.

That won’t be the case when the Mississippi State football team travels to Tuscaloosa, AL to take on the Crimson Tide. The Bulldogs will be playing in the CBS SEC Game of the Week for their game in Tuscaloosa.

Here is the tweet from the official account of the Southeastern Conference giving the necessary info.

It’s one of only two games set in stone so far for the 11th week of the college football season. The only other game with a definitive time and broadcaster is Missouri and Vanderbilt.

The only other game that could have challenged Alabama and Mississippi State for the 2:30 slot was Auburn at Georgia. But it doesn’t appear Auburn will be able to give the Georgia Bulldogs quite the game they did a season ago, so it makes sense for CBS to go with the Bulldogs and the Crimson Tide.

The Mississippi State football team will likely be heavy underdogs. Alabama will try to keep their perfect season in tact, assuming they can keep their record spotless after they play the LSU Tigers this coming weekend in Baton Rouge.

So, if you like night games, then you’re finally going to be disappointed with a game time for the 2018 Mississippi State football season. While most people won’t be expecting a win against the Alabama Crimson Tide, it will still be a good game to see just how much improvement the team has made with their most recent win over the Texas A&M Aggies.
