Joe Moorhead addressed his Mississippi State football team in the locker room after the Bulldogs beat Louisiana-Lafayette

Another week of Mississippi State football, another dominant win in 2018. The Mississippi State Bulldogs came out on Saturday and demolished the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns. MSU’s win over Louisiana-Lafayette kept the Bulldogs moving up in both the AP and the Amway Coaches poll as well as maintained the fact that MSU is undefeated this year.

Louisiana-Lafayette wasn’t the most difficult team that the Bulldogs are going to face all year, but MSU did well to beat them by 46 points on Saturday. That win moved the Mississippi State football team to 3-0 on the year and led to this postgame locker room speech on Saturday night from Joe Moorhead.

MSU is 3-0. The Bulldogs are winning big. State has climbed up in the polls. There’s plenty to be excited about right now for Mississippi State. The Bulldogs executed everything much more efficiently on Saturday and that is what Moorhead talked about with his team on Saturday evening.

Well, among other things. He also discussed playing up to a “championship standard,” which is a phrase that Mississippi State fans are certainly familiar with right now.

The Bulldogs have been executing well and played a much cleaner game on Saturday. There were far fewer penalties from the Bulldogs and nowhere near as many mistakes as we have seen in the first couple of weeks of the 2018 Mississippi State football season.

The Mississippi State football team looks good. The Bulldogs are 3-0 and about to take to the road again for a match with Kentucky. This is MSU’s first SEC road test of the season, but it should be one that the Bulldogs can handle.
