Mario Kegler tweeted his intentions to transfer to Baylor this morning. The 2016 four-star wing decided to leave the Mississippi State program last month.
Kegler thanks Mississippi State, but says he has decided to transfer to Waco. Here is what Adam Grosbard of the Dallas Morning News says:
"Baylor picked up the commitment of former Mississippi State wing Mario Kegler on Sunday, according to a report from FanRag Sport’s Jon Rothstein.Kegler was a four-star prospect in high school according to Rivals.com. The Bears recruited him when he was a senior at Oak Hill Academy. He choose the Bulldogs over the Bears, Maryland, Indiana and Arizona State, among others."

Fred Brown was dismissed from the university prior to his senior season in Starkville due to an honor code violation. Now, the Colts signed him to a deal. After his college career abruptly ended, Brown has a chance to compete for an NFL job.
"It is awesome to see Brown learn from his previous mistake and bounce back in a big way. Earlier this week, the Colts announced that they have signed the former MSU receiver.Brown will need to show he can play on special teams and do everything the coaching staff asks him to do in order to have a chance at making the roster or practice sqaud. After seeing his college career end abruptly, it is awesome that Fred Brown has another opportunity to do what he loves."
RECRUITING NOTES:
- 3-star WR C.J. Bolar (Purvis, MS) decommitted from Iowa State. Bolar spent the weekend at Mississippi State and is currently 100% projected to go to the Bulldogs, per the 247Sports Crystal Ball.
- A 2019 5-star prospect included Mississippi State in his top-ten. Herron spent this past weekend in Starkville.
