Ole Miss fans have presented a unified front regarding their NCAA investigation, and now they’re going on the offensive.

This first one pretty much speaks for itself…

The article linked in the tweet suggest this is a “movement”? That because, as they put it: “wags in the NCAA, national press and at other institutions are talking about a possible suspension of Coach Freeze”, Rebel fans need to buy these pins to support their head coach.

I guess everyone has a cause these days. But you can actually see the point of some groups across the country who feel they are being oppressed by laws or undue aggression or something like that. Is Hugh Freeze not allowed to build a dam in the locker room, or is he on trial for a crime or what exactly is the injustice occurring here?

Oh, I know, he may have cheated – actually Ole Miss has admitted there have been infractions – so he could be suspended for a game or two or three. Considering Ole Miss’ rough schedule to begin the year (vs. Florida State, Wofford, Alabama & Georgia), that would be quite a blow to what’s expected to be a big season in Oxford. Whether it’s justified or not I’ll let the NCAA be the judge, but it’s not like the man is lily white despite what Ole Miss fans believe about him.

Item #2

This one just has to make you laugh.

More credence to Coach 34 (who retired from message boards, by the way) with “The Network”, and then they thumb their nose at the NCAA with the caption: “it’s not what you know, it’s what you can prove”.

In other words, we are cheating but we’re so good at hiding it you’ll never find out.

How stupid can you be? Not only are you egging the NCAA on to punish the program harder, but you are admitting to breaking the rules. What’s more, it has been proven that you broke the rules because your own administration self-imposed sanctions which admitted guilt.

Ole Miss fans wonder why everyone is laughing at them right now. At some point they will look back at this and shake their heads at how ridiculous this is.

UPDATE: Rebel Nation Mag decided they couldn’t take being made fun of, so they deleted the tweet above. They’ll probably delete this one too…
