Two of the Bulldogs who were selected to the coaches All-SEC team last week added the Associated Press’s honor to their list of accomplishments.

We learned last week that Dak Prescott, Fred Ross, and De’Runnya Wilson were named to the Coaches All-SEC team for the 2015 season. The Associated Press honored Dak Prescott and Fred Ross for their accomplishments on their team in 2015.

Dak Prescott joins Billy Stacy as the only two Mississippi State Bulldogs to be named First Team All-SEC by the Associated Press at the quarterback position according to the school’s athletic department. Dak Prescott adds the honor to his already growing list of accomplishments in his time as a Mississippi State Bulldog.

One of the reasons Dak Prescott had such a great year was the leading receiver in the SEC in terms of receptions was his own Fred Ross. Fred Ross broke the school record for receptions in a season. He also led the team in receiving yards as well.

Dak Prescott and Fred Ross will have one additional opportunity to add to their accolades. The Bulldogs will travel to Charlotte, NC on December 30th to play the NC State Wolfpack in the Belk Bowl. The Belk Bowl will be the sixth consecutive bowl the Bulldogs have been selected to play in. The Bulldogs have made an appearance in a bowl game in six of the seven seasons Dan Mullen has been the head coach,

With both the Coaches and Associated Press releasing their All-SEC teams, it’s safe to say the Bulldogs had the best quarterback in the league in 2015 and one of the best receivers in the league for him to throw the ball to.
